Dear Neonatologist Friends and Colleagues:

We Invite you to attend our inaugural conference entitle “BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL NEONATOLOGY SYMPOSIUM: 2011” in February 2011. This is the first international symposium in Thailand for neonatologists and pediatricians who are interested, or heavily involved, in Neonatology.

Our vision is to have an annual meeting to update many issues in Neonatology by inviting world renowned neonatologists or researchers. They will share with us their first hand experiences in managing sick newborn babies and update us on potential new developments that will affect future practice.

To help make this a very interesting meeting, Dr. Richard Martin of Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital (Cleveland, Ohio, USA) is serving as co-Chairman of our scientific committee, and he has helped develop a comprehensive program. Leaders from various fields have been invited and have agreed to participate. These include Avroy Fanaroff, Alan Jobe, and Eduardo Bancalari from the USA, Maximo Vento and Hans van Goudoever from Europe, and Tsu Yeh from Asia.

Please join us in Bangkok during our dry, warm and very pleasant winter. The venue is the majestic Shangri La Hotel on the bank of the Chao Phraya River. Our registration fee is very reasonable for a meeting of this caliber. As an inaugural meeting “extra” we will host a complementary dinner cruise for your visit to our capital city in the Kingdom of Thailand, an event that is sure to be a memorable experience.
